About WellNest Worldwide
WellNest Worldwide CBO, established in 2025 and registered in Kenya, is dedicated to improving mental health, economic empowerment, gender equality, and public health in Nairobi, Kakamega, Bungoma, Vihiga, Busia, Kericho, Bomet, Siaya, kisumu, Homabay, Migori, Kisii and Nyamira Counties. We tackle urgent challenges such as rising mental health disorders, high HIV prevalence, gender-based violence, and limited access to reproductive healthcare.
In Nairobi, economic hardships fuel stress, depression, and substance abuse, while Western and Nyanza Counties report high cases of severe depressive symptoms and harmful alcohol use. Limited youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services contribute to high teenage pregnancies and increased HIV vulnerability. Additionally, gender inequalities and poverty further exacerbate health risks in marginalized communities.
To drive change, we collaborate with county governments, community leaders, and local health workers to ensure sustainable interventions. Our approach focuses on community engagement, capacity building, and advocacy to enhance mental health services, reproductive healthcare, economic opportunities, and gender-based violence prevention.

Damary Oyando is a health consultant, entrepreneur, and community leader with 20 years of experience in health programming, wellness, and social impact. She has:

✔ Served as Program Manager in a National NGO for 4 years.
✔ Acted as Secretary to the Board of SRHR Alliance Kenya, driving policy discussions.
✔ Managed USAID, Global Fund, EU, and UNAIDS-funded programs improving public health.
