Executive Director (ED)
Damary Oyando is a seasoned health consultant, visionary leader, and the driving force behind WellNest Worldwide, a global health and lifestyle online platform dedicated to fostering wellness, empowerment, and social change. With a wealth of experience in project implementation, capacity building, and advocacy, she has spearheaded initiatives addressing public health challenges, gender issues, and community development. Her leadership extends beyond digital engagement to practical interventions that transform lives, particularly for women, children, and marginalized communities.
Her career spans impactful work with international donors and organizations, including USAID, STOP AIDS NOW, the European Union, the Global Fund, UNAIDS, and other global funding bodies. She has played a critical role in implementing programs that address HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health, gender mainstreaming, and poverty reduction. Through strategic partnerships, policy influence, and grassroots initiatives, Damary has consistently delivered sustainable solutions that bridge healthcare, education, and economic empowerment.
As the Founder of WellNest Worldwide, she has created a dynamic platform that merges health expertise with digital engagement, offering live sessions, webinars, and interactive discussions on critical health and wellness topics.
The platform is complemented by wellnest world, providing mental health support and guidance to a global audience. With a growing social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X, she is committed to reaching diverse audiences with accessible, evidence-based health information.
Beyond the digital space, Damary is also establishing WellNest Worldwide CBO in Kenya, focusing on women’s and children’s welfare, education, SRHR, HIV and poverty, SGBV, and livelihoods. Operating in Nairobi, Western Kenya, and Nyanza counties, the CBO is designed to provide direct support, capacity strengthening, and advocacy to improve community health and social well-being. Her expertise in resource mobilization and organizational development positions WellNest Worldwide CBO as a catalyst for sustainable change.
